LAUNCH will premier pro re nata in Northwest New Works:
pro re nata is a boldly glamorous wartime banging-your-heart-against-a-wall multi-media performance work, featuring organ transplants, flag folding, and popcorn consumption. Choreographer and video artist Ricki Mason is thrilled to be collaborating with writer Rebecca Brown, costume designer Helga Hizer, and dancers Monica Mata Gilliam, Jody Kuehner, and Megan Mertaugh. pro re nata also features guest artists Rhonda Soikowski and Waxie Moon, lighting design by Hallie Kuperman, and music by Zoe Keating. LAUNCH will premier pro re nata May 18 and 19 at On the Boards as part of the Northwest New Works festival.
