Ricki, Jody, Bianca, Jenna, and Megan are a quintet of serious contemporary dance performers who have come together to get their campy chorus girl on.

| Originally conceptualized for Century Ballroom's Frolic (the first CB cabaret created especially for gay pride weekend), The Launchettes are fast becoming a Ballroom cabaret fixture.

|  | Jody Kuehner graduated with distinction from the University of South Florida with a BFA in modern dance performance. While in Tampa, Jody danced with Moving Current Dance Collective and Gaudere Danza. Jody now lives in Seattle where she continues to create and explore as a dancer/choreographer. She co-founded Left Field Dance Collective in 2004 and now works under the company's off-shoot, Left Field Revival. She has the pleasure of dancing with LAUNCH Dance Theater and doing as many side projects as she can with Ricki Mason. Jody works as Velocity's Office Manager and joined the lovely ladies of d9 in 2004.

|  | Jenna Bean Veatch, queen of go-go quirk, is a dancer, choreographer, performance artist, and ukulele songstress. She has taken on the roles of amagical fairy, a dancing doll, an anti-war dance demonstration organizer, and a Marshmallow Peep. In addition to performing her own work, she also currently dances for Ricki Mason and Walrus Dance Co.

| | Ricki Mason is excited to be working with the Launchettes, a quintet of serious contemporary dance performers getting their campy chorus girl on. Ricki teaches queer partner dance at Century with her favorite dance partner, Hallie Kuperman. She also directs LAUNCH dance theater. |  |
|  | Megan Mertaugh, a native of Traverse City, MI is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Michigan. While in Ann Arbor, Michigan she presented her choreography in multiple theatrical productions including: Eve Ensler's Floating Rhoada and The Glue Man, William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Stephen Schwartz’ Pippin. Invited as a resident artist to the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, Cholula, Mexico, Megan was further welcomed as a guest choreographer and performer by the Michigan Dance Collective. In 2006, Megan co-founded BASE Movement Theatre, with whom she recently directed DROP YOUR ART. |
